Field Spears

A portable soil testing kit of five handheld spears. Each spear has a metal sensor probe that goes into the soil and an LCD screen, and together they read plant-available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, soil pH and temperature, and EC (salt level) and moisture on the spot.

In the kit

  • LY607-N: Plant-available nitrogen
  • LY608-P: Plant-available phosphorus
  • LY609-K: Plant-available potassium
  • LY605-PH: Soil pH and temperature
  • LY610: EC (salt level) and soil moisture

  • Readings in about 15 to 30 seconds, in the paddock, with no samples sent to a lab
  • Metal sensors on each spear react directly with the soil
  • Factory calibrated, so most users can start using it straight out of the box
